Hard at work

They said, get on Facebook.  Do some self-promotion, it'll do you good.  Well, good it has done!  I'm under contract for a new website that I just completed for a company in Dallas, I have a birthday invitation to design, wedding invitations for a darling girl and a moving announcement, not to mention the pregnancy announcement that I just completed...isn't it adorable?!  They will make great parents!

All Pretty in Pink

I had a lot of fun with these designs.  I got to be girly and romantic and isn't that what it's all about sometimes?  I especially had fun with the bachelorette party invites.  Amber is bold and as southern as they come and I think I captured her well in her package.

I hope you enjoy these as much as I did creating them!

Inspiration

I've been on a typography kick lately.  I love anything that has to do with typography and my love of patterns isn't a surprise so imagine my excitement when I came across these on one of my very favorite blogs, Oh So Beautiful Paper:

The set on the left is very vintage and old Hollywood from the type to the pattern to the color pallette.  Then my very favorite, the design on the right is all southern.  I think the designer did an awesome job showcasing the ease, charm and romance of the deep south.

I'm in love!!

Sarah's Paper

Sarah is one of my dearest friends so being able to work with her to design her wedding suite was a dream come true!

She and Brendan are absolutely perfect for each other!  They are getting married next week in Cape Cod, Mass. and I couldn't be happier.

Sarah is the definition of simple elegance so I wanted to create something for her that embodied that definition.  What we came away with was right on target and I am very pleased with the results!

All illustrations were drawn by Paper by Andrea.

Save the Date

I created this Save the Date card for my sister and her fiance.  They are a very fun couple and I used typography to show their playful side.  They wanted their wedding to feel fun and I think we captured that in this save the date card.  The use of bright color and playful typography tie this card together with the "fun" theme they wanted.

This project was especially fun for me, not only because my sister is near and dear to my heart but also because I got to design every aspect of this piece from the photography all the way down to the paper.
